Highlights of our Achievement

    2007

The year of realization and action.

All around us we saw that mother earth was being misused and uncared for. Being one among society, we felt equally responsible for this. We wanted to do our bit to preserve our earth and undo some of the impacts of mankind's unsustainable behaviors. The best way was to start at grass root level – the production of food. In this pursuit, we acquired land to start a new beginning.

    Preparing for a new start

It was an exciting start but nowhere near easy. The land we acquired was in a bad shape owing to the inorganic farming that was done earlier and lack of water resources. The humungous task of preparing the land for organic farming was our primary goal.

Happy to be a Farmer !

Beginning to farm and grow food, protecting mother earth, providing for others, helping the local communities was the top priority for us. We worked relentlessly to understand the various dynamics of organic farming, ways to ensure that these methods were sustainable to nature and people.

    Organic, Natural and Sustainable

Three years of nurturing the land as a whole including the soil, water, air and energy led to the ultimate achievement of converting the land for successful organic farming. Soil was fertile and water resources were harvested to make land suitable.

    Certified

We realized, as important as our endeavor to grow organic food was, it was equally vital for us to have our land certified for organic farming. This would give confidence to ourselves and our customers. For more than a year, the food produced was consumed by families of known networks.

    Time to provide to others.

We wanted to provide the natural organic food we grew to others and at the same time keep it convenient and easy for them to buy. Thus, came to life our Organic e-store www.greendna.in and began an endeavor to provide Fresh, Natural and 100% Organic food directly from "Namma Farm to Nimma Kitchen".

It is not the numbers but the value we have created for our farmers, customers and mother earth that has made us proud! Happy to enable healthy life for our customers, financial sustainability to our farmers, giving back to mother earth by our organic and sustainable methods of farming.
